Aww sorry to see you suffering like this my dear 🙏

This sounds and looks a lot like my emotional, physical and spiritual journey back to wellness over the last two years.

I certainly recognise the puffiness and sunken eyes.🥹 I also had nerve stuff...tingles more than pain.

Also unexplained and unexplainable by standard medical folk.

Huge amounts of panic/anxiety unlike ‘standard’ anxiety.

Brain fog, confusion, trips to A&E...tick tick & tick ☑️

Oh and it was off the back of huge emotional turmoil so we’re twinning in all the ways 😅😆

More than happy to do a video call to talk you through what I’ve had to put into place. Even if you can just manage 5mins on the screen. I didn’t have the energy to look at my laptop screen at one stage so I know what that’s like.

All the best with your healing whatever route you go down. ❤️‍🩹 Just know that you didn’t do anything wrong and this sickness is not your fault.

Do I remember correctly you had long Covid struggles?

Expand full comment

Kinda yeah. ☺️

Long covid is not a single diagnosis. It’s not something you ‘have’ per se, or can actually test for.

Covid provided a tipping point for my immune system, i have essentially a post viral ‘fatigue’ but any virus can cause this.

Mostly LC is just a convenient hook to hang your chronic fatigue hat on if you’ve run out of all other ideas...when your bloods come back in range and your ecg’s are fine and they can’t find nutritional deficiencies.

I’ve not officially been diagnosed with anything. Just dismissed really. They think it’s psychological bless them. 😆

Have you had a hair mineral analysis?

Expand full comment

I have not. It’s been very difficult to see doctors in the United States. I have been to the ER twice and sent home once they determine I’m not immediately at risk of death. My primary doctor is confused. I got an urgent referral to a cardiologist and they can’t see me until august 15

Well Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a good way to go.

In the grand scheme of things its relatively inexpensive for the insight it gives you.

When you have actual data on your mineral deficiencies It stops you thinking you’re going crazy when all the doctors and consultants say there is nothing untoward as far as they’re concerned.

From memory, around 85% of our minerals are deposited in our tissue. The stuff they measure in the blood is just the stuff in transport around the body at any given time. Our hair is a window into our tissues. It tells the long term story.

Obviously I got mine done in the UK but there’s a lady called Margaret who does it your side of the pond.

From her website:

You can contact Margaret via email.
