I’m so glad to hear you are finding some relief Chanel. I wholeheartedly believe there is still so much we don’t know about how trauma and emotion impacts physical health and i can only imagine how challenging it is to be in pain and have no answers.
💯 learning to regulate my emotions and releasing trauma from this lifetime and past has led to my health improving beyond what is medically believed possible.
The most ludicrous thing is, whilst there is still so much we don’t know, we know enough that we need not be impacted and suffering to the extent that many millions of us are.
I didn’t recognize your name, Julie, so I just found a post you made and read it. You truly have had a hard hand dealt. Despite our wildly different circumstances, I find so much solidarity with you. In particular this quote from you:
“Life is never one way though. Never just all easeful or all challenging. We’re never all courageous or all falling apart. With faith, we know we can be everything at once, because it’s not our doing. We are not alone and we can be our real selves.”
BRILLIANT article! You cover so much so well🤩 Hope as a healing path; acceptance, witnessing, opening up, tuning in (to messages, signs and the body’s wisdom), trusting/having a strong faith, feeling all feelings (especially anger), taking inspired action, speaking your truth and reaching out and asking for help/support. Incredible!
Gosh this is beautiful to hear. What is wild is I had an inkling to mention the mind body connection to you but it is one of those things one has to experience for themselves. EMDR changed my life and helped me release a trauma that I had no idea was impacting my body so deeply. I look forward to reading more about your healing journey.

Also, reading this reminded me of the book “This is how I save my life” by Amy Scher, which you may appreciate if you’ve never read it.
I will look into it! Thank you for suggesting this ❤️
I can relate and feel this on so many levels, especially with migraines. It’s such a journey. Much love to you. 💜

Praying for you and your family tonight ❤️
This is amazing news! My dad was a chiropractor and helped me so much.
I’m just glad you’re finding some relief. You may want to ask about needling, too. 🫶🏻
What is needling? Is it different from acupuncture?
Yes. It’s for us Fibro people. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/16542-dry-needling
