Hello my dear friends!
I think you’ll want to read this one over so be sure to save it in case you’re currently taking five minutes before the mariachi band that is your child(ren) comes bursting through the door with requests.
Last year we did a pretty incredible thing together: we connected mothers in all seasons with speakers who work and advocate for their mental health. The information and resources that were shared are often left out of sight to “regular folk” who aren’t working in a mental health field or bringing years of education and research into their parenting journey.
It’s out there but how can you know what to look for when you don’t know what to ask for?
Better yet, how can mothers take time to do all this damn research on helping themselves when they are busy helping everyone else? (Again, let’s make this brief for you while you hide between tasks).
I’ve decided to take another leap of faith and organize a second Mental Health and Motherhood event. Mark your calendars for October 10, 2025
Here’s what that looks like so far:
Virtual summit instead of a live conference
Why the name change? Well, honestly it was a mouthful to say and type.
More speaker flexibility
By prerecording presentations and a new online platform, we will see more speaker availability! Last year we sat on Zoom for 6 hours and it was exhausting. Zoom also provided terrible recording quality to our expectations and made it difficult in edits.
This new plan allows speakers to submit applications and video presentations from any time zone or country. They’ll also be able to chat live with their audience during the time their talk presents (if they choose). More engagement for them, more questions and connections for you!

Visit the website to see what last year’s event was like Mental Health and Motherhood
In 2024 this event was entirely ran by volunteers (so like 12 speakers, a host, and myself). We reached women in an incredible way just through the connection of Substack. What can we do this year?
Application Deadline is May 1, 2025. We will be reviewing your application and notifying you with approval by May 15, 2025
